California Online CCW Courses
16-Hour California CCW Initial Online Course -
Completion of this 16-hour online course and your live-fire qualification will enable you to apply for your California CCW. This course is broken down into multiple sections containing lessons of instruction that you will be tested on at the end of each section and a Final Exam covering all course content. You may start, stop, and resume as much as you like. You must complete the lectures or reading segment before you will be able to complete the segment test. Each lesson is timed to meet California State Requirements of 16-hours. You 90 days to complete this course from time of purchase.
Once you have completed the course, you will be able to print or screenshot a certificate of completion. You will then take that certificate to your affiliate for your “live-fire” qualification. The shooting portion of your test can be completed according to the affiliates instructions within the course. In some cases, scheduling of an appointment may be required for the live-fire qualification along with a qualification fee. A renewal course will be required every two years to renew your California CCW, once your initial permit is issued. Hello, my name is Ken 'KC' Clements.
California Online CCW & 5150 HEAT, LLC want to provide a more flexible learning method to everyone inside and outside of California who wants to obtain a license to carry in California while maintaining the level of training expected from a traditional in-person training course.
We launched our Online CCW platform at the beginning of the COVID pandemic in 2020,
We continually strive to provide the highest level of online training to every student in and out of California.
Our courses are constantly updated and maintained to stay up-to-date with all of California’s ever-changing laws.

BACKGROUND
The idea for California Online CCW was birthed by two instructors who had been teaching courses and working at an indoor shooting range for several years. A constant issue was scheduling for students and working their schedules around in-person training sessions.
We launched our Online CCW platform at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, California Online CCW launched as an online renewal option for The Firing Line, Clovis Indoor Shooting range, in Fresno County.
Since that time, we have separated and formed our own business entity and grown throughout the State of California, gathering talented affiliates such as 5150 HEAT, LLC to offer the same courses to their county residents.
