Even for trained shooters it is difficult to do and when you add the stress factor it gets very difficult. But, you're only betting your life on it, right?
Well, you better know the best methods of reloading your gun in a deadly-force gunfight and make some key decisions. It is critical to reload your handgun using the best method for getting your gun recharged with fresh rounds in your gun and do it quickly. I want to focus here on only semi-automatic pistol reloads to keep my thoughts focused. What follows are my 4 major pistol reloads and 9 magazine (mag) tips to help you shoot faster and survive longer.
Some shooters prefer one pistol reload method over others, so these are my opinions and understandings. There are several factors that influence a safe and effective reload, like the type of gun you are using, the capacity of the particular mag, your motor skills and dexterity, training, and situational factors.

There were SEALs, Special Forces, Marine Recon, Law Enforcement, a SWAT commander with more than 1,000 dynamic entries under his belt, and other combat veterans.
They taught 140+ classes per month for more than 3 years… Most months, they were running 100+ FoF, (force-on-force classes. They TESTED & PROVED, under stress, what works and what doesn’t when it comes to gun fighting.
One of the things that they learned is that the ideal training ratio for high stress combat performance is 80% Dry Fire, 10% Live Fire, and 10% Force-on-Force.

The LASR software, developed and distributed by LASR Team LLC, can be used with most any computer to help give you more feedback from your training. The software is compatible to be used with both the red and green Shot Indicating lasers used in the SIRT Training Pistols. You can find the necessary system requirements for the software below.

Training Aide Compatibility
The only training aid requirement is that it has a momentary laser. Most of the time, in devices like this, the laser is activated mechanically when you pull the trigger.
“Constant On” laser devices, such as bore-sighters and laser sights, are not compatible or practical.

I’ve been a firearms & tactics instructor for a local Police Department for 15 years, and I've continued as a firearms instructor serving for the general public for another 12 years after my retirement from law enforcement. I know there are real costs to firearms training beyond the obvious like ammunition, targets, range fees, transportation, and waiting for an available lane in a crowded range. Go to the Live Fire Range when it makes when the time is right and it makes sense. But, it also make sense to Dry Fire more often, much more often.

What are the major problems with relying on range training only?
Cost: Ammunition is expensive and sometimes hard to find. Add to that the range fees, targets, gear, and your transportation and going to the range just isn't something most of us can do every week.
Full Range of Motion: Pulling the trigger is one thing but professionals know you also need to train drawing the firearm from your concealed holster, readying the firearm, getting into a stance and grip, dealing with reloads and malfunctions, and re-holstering the gun. Not only do most ranges have rules against this but it can also be very dangerous to train these things with a fully loaded firearm.
Stationary: Real life never holds still but at the range you are probably only allowed to stand still and fire at a stationary target. This doesn't prepare you for a world where targets move and you need to move also.
Single Target: Indoor ranges particularly have rules against you setting up multiple targets but in real life you can't bet your life on there only being a single assailant.
